The call for papers is available in pdf format here.

Authors are invited to submit electronically original, English-language research contributions or experience reports under the form of regular paper, short paper or poster. Regular papers will present fully implemented AI-based systems that were experimented, while short papers will present work in progress. Posters will show the results of national and international research projects. The maximum length is of 10 pages for regular papers, 6 pages for short papers and 2 pages for posters formatted according to the IFIP series instructions .

Submitted papers will be refereed for quality, correctness, originality, and relevance. Notification and reviews will be communicated via email. Accepted papers will be presented at the workshop and included in the workshops proceedings. The posters will be exhibited at the workshop site.

All the papers (regular and short) in an extended form will be reviewed, and those selected will be published in a special issue of the International Journal Environmental Engineering and Management Journal (EEMJ), an ISI indexed journal.

There will be arrangements from the AIAI-2009 organizers to publish all the workshop proceedings on-line at CEUR workshop proceedings.
